Our Beliefs
We believe there is one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, sharing the same divine nature, yet distinct in role and relationship. While the word “Trinity” does not appear explicitly in Scripture, the reality of the Trinity is revealed throughout the Bible.
Scripture: Genesis 1:26; John 1:1; Ephesians 4:4–6
2. Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of grace from God, received by faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again, offering new life to all who trust in Him. Salvation is more than going to heaven—it is life with God and life transformed by God. Through salvation, we come to know what it means to be truly loved, to live with hope, joy, peace, and purpose.
Scripture: Romans 10:9; John 3:17; John 10:10
3. Sin
We believe all people are born with a sinful nature and are in need of salvation. Sin separates us from God and affects every part of our lives. No one is “good” on their own, and no one is able to fully keep God’s law—including the Ten Commandments. Our need for grace is universal.
Scripture: John 3:3; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 7:14
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human. He is not partially divine or merely a great teacher—He is God in the flesh, revealed to us for our salvation.
Scripture: John 1:14; John 10:30
5. The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is God-breathed and trustworthy in all that it teaches. Because of this, Scripture guides our beliefs, shapes our lives, and directs our mission.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19
6. Justification by Faith
We believe we are made right with God (justified) by faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by our own good works or moral effort. Good works are the fruit of salvation, not the foundation of it. Our hope rests fully in what Christ has done for us.
Scripture: Romans 5:1; Galatians 3:24
7. The Second Coming of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return again to judge the living and the dead and to fully establish His eternal kingdom. This future hope shapes how we live today—with faith, expectation, and faithfulness.
Scripture: Acts 1:11; Matthew 24:30
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and actively present in the life of the believer and the Church. The Spirit convicts of sin, brings new life, empowers believers to live faithfully, and produces spiritual fruit. Salvation results in new life in Christ, and through the Spirit, believers are continually transformed to become more like Jesus in character, desires, and actions—a lifelong process called sanctification. Sanctification is not instant perfection, but a journey of grace marked by repentance, obedience, and growing holiness.
Scripture: Galatians 5:22–23; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8:11
9. Women in Ministry
We believe that God calls and gifts women to serve, lead, teach, and minister in the Church. Just as Scripture affirms the diverse gifts of the Spirit, women are fully capable of exercising leadership, shepherding, and teaching within the Church, contributing to the mission and health of the body of Christ. The Church is strengthened when all members, men and women alike, serve faithfully in the ways God equips them. Ministry is about gifting and calling, not gender.
Scripture: Acts 2:17–18; Romans 12:6–8; Galatians 3:28
10. The Church
The belief that the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, with Jesus Christ as its head. The Church exists to worship God, grow in discipleship, care for one another, and participate in God’s mission in the world. The Christian faith is personal, but it is never meant to be lived in isolation. God forms us through life together in a local church community.
Scripture: Ephesians 1:22–23; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Acts 2:42–47
